Your Mission

Hive Streaming is growing its Product Team and we are looking for a new UX/UI Designer to join us from our Stockholm office. You will be part of a small but skilled UX team, and together, you will work closely with the Product Owners and developers to make sure we deliver the best experience to our customers. You will be part of our hybrid workplace, which means you can choose to work remotely or at our office (to enjoy a free massage, team-building activities, and more).

What you’ll do as a UX/UI Designer at Hive

First of all, you will be working on very cool niche products, creating digital tools for professional use, and serving some of the world's largest enterprises. You will participate in the whole spectrum of UX and UI design, improving existing products and creating new ones. You will team up with a product owner, an engineering manager, and a full product development team.  

You will also be in close collaboration with the other members of the UX team, bouncing design ideas, managing our design system, to ensure consistency across products, and evolving our product design processes and practices. We will also be shaping our processes and tools for gaining insights about how our customers use our products and how they can be improved.

What we’re looking for:

• At least a few years experience working with UX/UI
• Experience in designing advanced digital tools
• An education within the relevant field
• A strong analytical mind, capable of understanding complex problem domains, and structuring complex problems
• The ability to communicate regarding design with various stakeholders
• Knowledge in accessibility (WCAG/ADA)
• Created/maintained a design system
• Basic knowledge in analyzing usage statistics
• You are fluent in professional English 
• Preferably a portfolio you can submit with your application

Nice to have:

• Experience working with a SaaS product 

• Experience from continuous improvement of an existing digital service

• Experience in setting up/defining a framework for analyzing usage statistics 

• Competence in UX-writing
